The other day I went for jog on my usual route down Minnehaha Creek towards Lake Harriet. About a half mile around the lake I looked up and saw a bald eagle. That got me thinking, how lucky am I to live in Minneapolis? You just don't see eagles in metropolitan cities very often.
So, let me count the ways...

Four things I like about living in Minneapolis:

1. All the shows that I can go to any night of the week (this is Kings of Leon at First Ave)


Waterama is only a two hour drive-


This is where I run, 1 minute walk from my apartment in Minneapolis


I like seasons, and foliage




And the One Thing I Really Dont Like: Slush- This shot was defintely taken in February, the worst month of all time in Minnesota.

I Made It

After months of anticipation from one person, I am finally ready to make the leap towards being a typical, mnspeak-reading Minneapolis blogger. This blog will mostly be me complaining about things, so pretty much it will be exactly like most other blogs you read. Anyway, my significant other (schmoopie) will hate that I do this, but my hope is that a couple friends get a few laughs here and there. Anyway, to start things off, I would like to link to my favorite blog post of all time.
